Pierre-Vincent Girardin is a young winemaker from Burgundy, representing the thirteenth generation of winemakers in his family. From a very young age, he learned from his father, Vincent Girardin. In 2017, Pierre-Vincent produced his first vintage at just 19 years old, his wines already exhibited unparalleled mastery and expertise. The estate is now located in Meursault, covers a bit more than 4 hectares in property and has a magnificent, very modern winery visible from the D974 departmental road.
The vineyard is predominantly planted with Chardonnay (about 60%) and Pinot Noir (40%). Pierre-Vincent vinifies very prestigious climates such as his famous Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru, some premier cru from Pommard, and also the most famous crus from Meursault. His wines are aged in oak barrels, with a proportion of new oak varying depending on the vintages and appellations.
Pierre-Vincent produces a wide range of appellations made from grapes from his parcels, complemented by the purchase of grapes from prestigious appellations through Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. You will find Grand Cru appellations, such as Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru cuvée or his famous Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru. Pierre-Vincent also offers beautiful Premier Cru and Village classified cuvées, such as a magnificent Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières or the Pommard Les Noizons cuvée.
