The History of Maison A&S

Maison A&S began as a project between two passionate friends: Pierre-Alexandre Soltana and Alexandre Aires. Both honed their skills at renowned estates in Burgundy. Currently, Pierre-Alexandre is the vineyard manager for Domaine des Comtes Lafon and Alexandre is the cellar master at Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair. The 2018 vintage marked the beginning of the adventure for the Maison A&S negoce project, but it didn't stop there. In 2022, they acquired a plot in Hautes Côtes de Beaune, and in 2023, they purchased a second plot in Pommard.

Viticulture and Winemaking: The Estate’s Philosophy

The two friends buy grapes from winegrowers who practice organic farming to apply their expertise. The grapes are meticulously sorted and then vinified. They use indigenous yeasts for fermentation and vinify without any additives. They generally age the wines for at least a year, limiting the use of new oak barrels.

The Wines of Maison A&S

Maison A&S produces several appellations, some of which are classified as generic appellations, such as Bourgogne Chardonnay and Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune ; others are classified as village appellations, like Maranges Le Bas des Loyères.
