Julien Hénin: an organic winegrower and producer, in the heart of the Marne Valley

Julien Hénin embodies a new generation of committed Champagne growers, carving out their own viticultural identity alongside the family estate. Based in Cerseuil in the Marne Valley, he works alone on a vineyard of just over one and a half hectares, entirely farmed organically since 2020. A demanding and solitary approach, driven by a deep conviction: that every bottle must faithfully reflect its terroir, without artifice or compromise.

Two 100% Chardonnay vintages to discover!

His first cuvée, 'Jolie Promenade', a 100% Chardonnay (Blanc de Blancs) from the clay soils of Cerseuil, was released in autumn 2024. Vinified in tanks and barrels and presented as a brut nature, its name pays tribute to his childhood walks along the Marne river, a poetic nod to his earliest emotions as a winemaker. His second cuvée, 'Le Champ Dame Jeanne' , is a 100% Chardonnay vinified exclusively in barrels, also presented as a brut nature, produced in only 1,205 bottles.
