Domaine Confuron-Gindre is located in Vosne-Romanée in the Côte de Nuits. For six generations, the Confuron family has maintained mastery and expertise in crafting exceptional wines. Today, the estate encompasses 11 hectares of vineyards spread across several appellations: Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Gevrey-Chambertin.
In the vineyard, special emphasis is placed on respecting the terroir. The vines are treated with the utmost care to preserve the quality of the grapes. The vineyard is planted with the region's three emblematic grape varieties : Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Aligoté. In the cellar, the wines are aged in oak barrels for about 18 months. François Confuron collaborates with several coopers from the region, depending on the toasts used, a very important detail that allows for great precision in expressing each terroir.
Domaine Confuron-Gindre produces high-quality wines, primarily from Pinot Noir, as it only produces two white wine cuvées: a Bourgogne Chardonnay and a Bourgogne Aligoté. For red wines, the estate produces several village appellation wines from Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits-Saint-Georges. It also offers four Premier Crus from Vosne-Romanée: ‘Les Chaumes’, ‘Les Beaumonts’, ‘Les Brulées’, and ‘Les Suchots’ ; as well as an exceptional Echezeaux Grand Cru.
