A&S SIRUGUE-NOËLLAT

The History of Domaine A&S Sirugue-Noëllat

Based in Vosne-Romanée, Domaine A&S Sirugue-Noëllat was born from the union of two families deeply rooted in the village's winemaking history. Sophie Noëllat, from Domaine Michel Noëllat, and Arnaud Sirugue, from Domaine Robert Sirugue, bring together two Burgundian legacies within a shared estate. Their first vintage was released in 2016, with just two cuvées.

The adventure began notably around a parcel of Vosne-Romanée "Les Barreaux", located near the famous Cros Parantoux. The domaine has since grown steadily and now covers approximately 12 hectares. Since the 2023 vintage, the wines have been made in a new cellar in Vosne-Romanée.

Viticulture and Vinification: The Domaine's Philosophy

A&S Sirugue-Noëllat favors precise vineyard work and winemaking adapted to each terroir. The grapes are hand-harvested, and the proportion of whole clusters can vary depending on the cuvée and vintage. Fermentations rely on indigenous yeasts, with measured extraction to preserve the fruit, freshness and the identity of each parcel.

Barrel aging then accompanies the wines for 12 to 15 months, without seeking an excessive expression of oak.

The Wines of Domaine A&S Sirugue-Noëllat

The range from A&S Sirugue-Noëllat reflects above all Arnaud and Sophie's attachment to the great terroirs of the Côte de Nuits. Each cuvée has its own identity, while following the same pursuit of finesse, freshness and expression of Pinot Noir.

In Vosne-Romanée, Les Barreaux and Vieilles Vignes offer two distinct expressions of the village, joined by Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Petits Monts, from one of the appellation's most renowned climats. The range also extends to Nuits-Saint-Georges with Clos du Coteau des Bois, and up to Grands Échézeaux Grand Cru, the domaine's flagship cuvée from one of the most prestigious terroirs of the Côte de Nuits.
