Domaine Pierre Boisson

History and Terroir

The Domaine Pierre Boisson continues the legacy of the family domaine originating from the former Domaine Boisson-Vadot, rooted in the winemaking tradition of Meursault for more than two centuries. The vineyards extend across the Côte de Beaune, with parcels located in Meursault, Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie, Pommard, and Beaune. In total, the family owns approximately 8.5 hectares, worked collectively but vinified under the labels Pierre Boisson and Anne Boisson.

Viticulture and Winemaking – The Estate Philosophy

At Pierre Boisson, the approach is based on a deep respect for terroirs and old vines. Harvesting is manual, with particularly rigorous sorting. Vinification remains traditional: indigenous yeasts, moderate aging in barrels, and minimal filtration. The objective is clear: to preserve the purest expression of the wine, without oak dominating or altering the identity of the terroir.

The Estate’s Wines

Among the emblematic cuvées of the Pierre Boisson Estate are:

- Pierre Boisson Bourgogne Blanc: produced from parcels located in Meursault (Les Herbeux, Les Vaux, Les Belles Côtes, Les Coutures, Les Murgeys de Limozin) on clay-limestone soils, with partial aging in barrels.

- Pierre Boisson Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune “Le Chemin de Pierre”: an expressive, taut, and saline white wine.

- Bourgogne Les Belles Côtes: an even more refined cuvée, combining freshness, precision, and elegance.
