Located in Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Roulot is today one of the most respected names in the world of Great White Wines of Burgundy.
Founded in the 1930s by actor Guy Roulot, the estate reached new heights under his son Jean-Marc Roulot, who took over its management in 1989. Combining the discipline of an actor with the precision of a craftsman, Jean-Marc has established a unique stylistic signature: wines of crystalline purity, combining tension, energy, and finesse.
Through meticulous vineyard work and uncompromising vinification, Roulot has risen to the ranks of the greatest winemakers in Meursault.
Domaine Roulot practices certified organic viticulture, respecting the environment and soil life. Vineyard work is manual, precise, and guided by careful observation of natural cycles.
In the cellar, vinification is gentle, with no added yeast or chemical intervention. Fermentations are slow, followed by long aging on fine lees, with moderate use of new oak. The Roulot style favors mineral brilliance, tension, and length over opulence.
The estate's Meursault wines are renowned for their sharp freshness, precision, and aging potential. Some emblematic cuvées include:
