The Refined Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru

Geographical Location

The Chambolle Musigny appellation is located between the communes of Morey Saint Denis and Vougeot on the Côte de Nuits. This appellation includes two famous Grands Crus: Musigny and Bonnes-Mares. It also has twenty-four Climats classified as Premier Cru, including the famous Fuées and Les Amoureuses.

Soils

Located between 250 and 300 meters in altitude, the Chambolle Musigny vineyard is oriented to the east. The thin soils are composed of limestone and gravel, with fissures allowing for good drainage. The grape variety is exclusively Pinot Noir.

Wine's caracteristics

The wines of Chambolle Musigny are renowned worldwide for their charming and "feminine" profile, with red fruit notes in their youth. After several years of aging, the wines develop notes of ripe fruit, spices, and undergrowth.
